HVAC Service Technician Job Description:
Job duties to include: involves troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of residential/commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems. An HVAC service technician documents and tracks preventive maintenance according to guidelines, maintains environmental conditions by maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; maintaining records. An HVAC service technician provides preventative maintenance, start-ups and troubleshooting for a variety of residential/commercial HVAC systems, meets with customers, evaluates their needs and makes recommendations, maintaining accurate and timely paperwork. An HVAC service technician creates preventative maintenance checklist for new equipment, maintains environmental conditions; organizes work; establishes environmental systems; tests and repairs environmental systems. An HVAC service technician provides support to junior HVAC techs.
Compensation: $20-$30/hr. DOE plus benefits
HVAC Sales Position:
Job duties to include: Sells, with minimal supervision, the Temp-Rite Heating & Cooling, Inc. offerings persuasively to residential home owners and commercial building owners and property management companies, while reaching optimal profit levels. Focuses on improving the existing building to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives. Manages multiple, ongoing, opportunities particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits. Sells, renews and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customer.
Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Temp-Rite Heating & Cooling, Inc. service offerings. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Understands the customer’s business and speaks their language. Demonstrates technical expertise and maintains a high level of credibility.
Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers. Understands and leverages the sales process outcomes as well as demonstrates evidence of gaining small trial closes. Qualifies and assesses potential customers. Refers leads to other business segments.
Addresses customer’s operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage. Differentiates Temp-Rite Heating & Cooling, Inc. services and products from competitors.
